I am really proud and honored to be joining CAA this year. This will be my 13th year teaching Elementary Art, K-5. I have taught in Colorado Springs, north Denver, and here in DPS. I grew up in California and went to school at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. I received a soccer scholarship and played for 4 years in the RMAC. I have a B.A. in Fine Art with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting. I also have my M.Ed. from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction: Integrating the Arts through the Curriculum. In my free time, I like to spend time with my two labs, Togi and Bella. I like to be outdoors, whether it is snowboarding, biking, or going for a hike. I also draw and paint in my office at home. I love art and culture and inspiring the youth to think outside the box and use creative solutions to solve problems. I am looking forward to working with the students here and inspiring them to create great things and become great artists in the community!
