UPDATE FROM THE DEAN OF ARTS

Welcome Back!

I am delighted to be back at KCAA and join you, this year, in my new role as Dean of Arts. As a KCAA 'founder' it has been my great pleasure to watch the school's growth over the last five years and I am excited to partner with you for what is sure to be our best year yet!

There are some exciting new changes occuring this year:

  • Our first graduating class - GO CLASS of 2015!;

  • More arts and academic programs at all grade levels;

  • An expanded after school enrichment program;

  • Growth of our school foundation - Creative Arts Alliance AND;

  • The launch of our new website- to name just a few.

I am eager to continue the celebration of art and academics and hope to see everyone on Back-to-School night when teachers will share their summer arts explorations in our Gallery space.

Please feel free to contact me at cori_herbst-loehr@dpsk12.org with any inquiries, suggestions or ideas about our arts programs at KCAA.

Best regards, Cori Herbst-Loehr
