Middle School Math Intervention
I grew up in Colorado. I love basketball, biking, camping, playing chess, and want to learn how to build my own house. I went to school at Santa Clara University in California. After college, I was a professional accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco, working for Silicon Valley clients such as, Ebay, and Yahoo. Accounting wasn’t for me, however, so I moved back to Colorado. I lived in South America travelling and teaching English in Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina for over a year. I have a passion for teaching, especially with Blended Learning, differentiating students in mathematics using 21st century technology to help prepare students for the real world. I am really excited to teach at KCAA.

I am a native of Colorado and have enjoyed the opportunities to live in Peru and Berlin over the years. Travel fascinates me because it teaches one about culture, language and the always fascinating exposure to human beings. That experiential knowledge, combined with my passion for words in English and Spanish, has created a fortunate focus for teaching Language Arts at the Secondary level, especially offering access to English Learning students who are non-native speakers. Colorado is my home and the world is my delight.
